Water Monsters
Ogopogo
📍 Last sighted: Okanagan Lake, Canada
Long before European settlers arrived, Indigenous oral histories described a spirit or serpent living in Okanagan Lake. Today Ogopogo is British Columbia's answer to Nessie — a long, dark shape reported by boaters and lakeside residents for well over a century, and one of Canada's most recognizable pieces of folklore.
