In September 1952, a group of witnesses in Flatwoods, West Virginia reported a tall, hissing figure with a glowing, spade-shaped head after seeing a bright object land nearby. The Flatwoods Monster remains one of the most detailed and well-documented cryptid encounters of the 20th century.
