Michigan Dogman sightings date back to at least the 1930s, describing a large, canine-like figure that moves on two legs and lets out a distinctly human-like scream. The legend picked up national attention in the 1980s after a radio DJ's joke song turned into a genuine phenomenon — and reports have continued steadily ever since.
