The Beast of Bray Road entered local legend in the late 1980s and early 1990s, when multiple witnesses near Elkhorn, Wisconsin reported a large, wolf-like creature walking upright along a rural road. It's since become one of the Midwest's best-known cryptids, complete with its own annual local following.
